Italic calligraphy worksheets

Italic, also called «Cancelleresca Corsiva» and «Littera Brevi» is an italic offspring of the humanistic minuscule. Italic was coined in 1420 by Niccolo Niccoli, an Italian scholar who found the humanistic letter too slow to write. In 1440 his font became an official font in the papal chancery.
